Finally, in your Conclusion, you bring the Inn-Keeper up to the Status of the Secret Chiefs; guarding the mysteries, that can also be developed through Liber Trigrammaton. I simply really enjoyed this; its numinous!

I just love how you present the guests and the inn-keeper; it really shows how a community can evolve from LXV as a parable, and it wholly brilliant...wonderful insight!

On the Black Brothers in contradistinction to the Black School: The Black School, as I said, runs the machinery of the world. And they cooperate with the clerics of the world religions to run a government that for all its supposed flaws, maintains civilization in its state of war (Ra-Hoor-Khuit). This is our collective Will. Now, of the Black Brothers; they are those that failed the Ordeal of the Abyss. Both Crowley and Blavatsky write clearly of this, and Liber Trigrammaton drives this home. These pretenders are the ones that claim Occult knowledge and have none; they deviate in a variety of ways, but are wholly ignorant of what they preach. These are just fools in the lesser sense; offering nothing but even growing to become cult leaders.

Hi there...your usual, thoughtful and enjoyable insights. Thanks! I'll deliver other compliments in a moment. But I want to suggest an idea for this idea you express, at the start. You talk about a 'path of return,' as if to suggest that the mystical goal in the Thelemic philosophical system is 'back to godhead.' The monist idea is just this, and a legitimate Yellow School philosophy. Crowley railed against monist and proved its falsity from our perspective.

Thelema is a White School philosophy, which is actually a subversive system in its contradistinction to the Black School that runs the machinery of the world. This may even be subversive from a Yellow School perspective; but remember, it's the Yellow School and Blavatsky that saved the White School, and probably informed the inner order of the Golden Dawn; where Crowley got his deepest instruction.

Enough said; moving to your Dionysian interpretation of spiritual ecstasy is joyful in how you present it, and you immediately open these lines and add to the notion that Wine symbolizes spirit(s) (with a lower-case initial 's'). These can be said to be the components of the psyche that ultimately must be yoked under the command of a Will; originally built up from them.

This built up identity is one's connecting the inner and outer worlds of the Soul. Add to this the life force of the Will, as the receiver of Spirit and the 'pretenders'--the 'purse-proud and penniless.' They are arrogant of the false egos they have built for themselves. The True Self and the True Will are One in unity with the three dimensions of your being: Body, Soul, Spirit; the latter of which is the Telos, or Love and Nuit.

Thank you! I tend to complain about the complainers. In my head. But I think its a fear response. I look at them as wanting to destroy something that I value. I really like the Barkeeper as HGA. Really brought the whole story together for me.

Great post!
